Ready To Go - A car named Dave - Gallery

Day One - Day two - Day Three - Day Four - Day Five - The End!

Thoughts from the team - Chris - Adrian - Dan - Al

Adrian had the task of driving "Dave" to his final destination, we managed to take a wrong turn and had to ask for directions, with my international language of Dave I managed to involve about six people from a garage and a cafe who were struggling with the concept that we wanted to crush a car that we were driving!

However luck was on our side when a Mafia type in black suit understood and tried to give directions, which we were struggling with, but he then had a better idea and decided to give us an escort, so there we were following a big black mercedes with blacked out windows to the scrap yard, we followed this for quite a way and finally turned into the scrap yard, It was like one of those dodgy gangster movies, you could not make it up. We like the Italians.

Its there we left "Dave" the little Mazda that sacrificed himself on the mission to drive a £100 car from Warrington in the back woods of Cheshire to Rome via France and Switzerland across the Alps.
